Hello Beauties and Gents!

I know it has been a little while since I last posted, but here in the Pacific Northwest, we were hit by a bomb cyclone storm, causing us to lose power and internet for about a week. Yikes! It was pretty scary, but our family is thankful and humbled to have had amazing neighbors who lent us their generator for a few days. Thanks to their kindness, we could have food to eat, finish some due college papers, and find peace of mind.

In the end, everything worked out well because our professors (my oldest is also in college) graciously extended deadlines for assignments due to the severity of the storm, which was the worst we’ve experienced in decades. Unfortunately, there are still many people without power, especially with Thanksgiving approaching. My heart and prayers go out to those families, and I am continually humbled by the kindness of people and neighbors.

Wherever you are in the world, take a moment to express gratitude for the things we often take for granted, such as electricity, warmth, food, and water.
