Gingerbread Body Butter Recipe: A Holiday Delight

  • ½ cup Shea butter
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp gingerbread spice
  • 10-15 drops gingerbread fragrance oil
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Heat-safe bowl or measuring cup
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Medium bowl
  • Jar for storage

Directions

Melt the magic: Combine the Shea butter and coconut oil in a heat-safe bowl. Microwave for a minute. Give it a good stir. If it needs more melting, heat it for another 30 seconds.

Chill out: Pour the melted mixture into a bowl. Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour. This is crucial for getting that fluffy texture!

Whip it good: Take the bowl out of the fridge and grab your mixer. Beat that mixture on high for about 5 minutes, scraping down the sides every minute or so. You’ll see it transform into a light and fluffy cream.

Spice things up: Now for the fun part! Add in the gingerbread spice and fragrance oil. Mix it on low until everything is perfectly blended.

Jar it up: Transfer your gorgeous body butter into a jar and seal it tight.
